I am extremely disappointed that Raley's has once again brought back plastic bags at the check-out stand. Even thicker ones will still end up strewn around the landscape and, at least in Windsor, the garbage company will not pick up plastic bags for recycling.

I'm looking for another store that doesn't carry the plastic bags in Windsor. I'm going to check Safeway and Oliver's and if they don't carry the plastic bags I'll be switching over to them. Sonoma County voted for a plastic bag ban because they end up along the roads, in parks, etc. and because they are not being recycled.

Trying to get around it by offering thicker plastic bags is an unacceptable effort to get around the ban.

If you want to offer reusable bags, make good ones like Trader Joe's, which only cost $1.00 each. I use them everywhere.

Review about: Raleys Supermarket Customer Care.

Reason of review: Bringing back plastic bags at check-out..

Preferred solution: Get rid of plastic bags and get true reusable bags like Trader Joe's..
