I got mistreat from the Store manager and his assistant.

Yesterday evening (2/13/2024) at approximately 5:20 pm, I came to the Nob Hill store located at 6061 Snell Ave, San Jose, CA to purchase the turkey from the Deli counter. I noticed on the counter displayed a sign of discounted price for SE member price and I do have that account.

After scanning the barcode I was able to get to the page but nothing has shown on my account to clip. Another customer standing next to me also helped to load the coupon. Nothing shown even though I have already logged in to my account. The few customers standing by also confirmed the app/web page never works for them.

Seeing the trouble, an associate at the Deli counter suggested me to take a pic of the sale sign, then come to the cashiers area and asked to have the price adjusted. It sounds like a great suggestion as this is an ongoing problem at this store.

I came up and talked to the store manager (Norman). He was standing with another sale associate or manager (Lettie or similar spelling is her name as I couldn't see clear) at the self-checkout area. After explaining to him, he asked me to show him the page but the webpage, somehow, logged me off during the "troubleshooting" period at the Deli counter.

Immediately, I could see the face expression on the Store manager showing the "winning" point as if I didn't know I was supposed to log on. I heard he also mentioned that this issue happened yesterday and he did over-ride for that case. Then, he took off in the middle of the conversation while I was trying to log on.

I asked Lettie if she could over-ride as it would be a long process of troubleshooting and my son was staying in the car for a long while. To my surprise, she told me "No No No..

" while I hadn't finished my sentence. She insisted on NOT helping me. She even said multiple times "I will not help you" and told me to step away while I was still trying to log on to Raley's website. After I was able to log back in, I asked where the manager had gone.

The answer was "he left!"

I felt so disgraceful, racist, and humiliated shopping at this Nob Hill location yesterday.

The worst was even from the management side. You can be assured that I will not visit this store anymore and will encourage my friends and neighbors to do the same.

Customer Service is horrid!

I called (800) 925-**** to inquire about my "Activated SE Member Number," which Raley's/ Bel Air is now requiring for some discounts. I became a member about 10 years ago, but never got a card, or proof of any member number.

I was placed in the "Cue" at number 8, and over the next 25 minutes or so I went from 8 to 7 to 6 to 5 to 4 to 3 to 2. When I got to "1" I got the sound of a ringing phone and then the line went dead. So I called again, and entered the "Cue" at 7, went down to 1, and then the phone rang again. Instead of going dead, I entered the music line, where the "hold" or "Cue" music plays over, and over, and over until people die, I guess.

I have been on the line listening to your "your place in the Cue is..., and now the "Cue" music, for TWENTY-SIX MINUTES on my second try, after almost a half hour on my first try.

How in the name of Almighty God am I supposed to find out what my "Activated SE Member" number is if you just make contacting you IMPOSSIBLE! Thirty minutes have gone by on my second try, so I am hanging up now and hanging myself from a noose in my bedroom!

Please stop using “cue”, it’s queue. Also, go in store to the customer service desk to resolve your issue.

Thank you very much, smart***. FYI, I started at the in store customer service desk, which told me to call the customer service number at (800) 925-**** to get help.

They even circled the number on my receipt. My guess is that most people who read my post got the meaning, even if I misspelled the word for a line of people, mostly disgruntled, who were waiting patiently to speak to customer service.

I am assuming that as a holder of a doctoral degree in spelling, you do not get impatient, only smarter, the longer you wait in a queue. ***

Poor customer support

My wife came home from the hospital after having heart surgery. We had here required meds sent to the Bel Air in Gold River for filling.

One was for heart rhythm that she needed after surgery. I call the pharmacy in the morning to make sure the meds would be ready to pick up. They told me it would be after 2pm. I went in at 2:30 pm and found out they hadn't even started them yet.

When I asked them why they weren't ready I was informed that they had to go to lunch. Now I understand they need their lunch but when they say after 2pm they should be ready after 2pm. It doesn't take 4 hours to have lunch.

The interesting part was her doctor told us not to have it filled at Bel Air because of poor customer service and other issues they have had.

I did it anyway but this will be the last time. Isn't it interesting that you have a poor reputation within the medical field in Sacramento and you haven't addressed it?

Rite Aid? In Sacramento they closed 6 stores in 2022 and 5 more October 2023 till now.

That’s a minimum of 11,000 prescriptions a week needing to be filled at the various pharmacies in Sacramento.

Every pharmacy in Sacramento is overworked from the volume coming in. If you know where the service is better, go there, but it is not at the company that closed 11 stores in the last two years.

I custom ordered a flower cake and when I picked it up it was the most ugliest, broken cake I have ever seen. Im not sure who the baker is but they need some training class on how to make cakes. I have taken a picture if youd like to see the cake. Worse cake ever. Flowers are ugly and trimmings are flat.

HORRIBLE customer service X 2

I went to the deli at Raleigh's in Grass Valley... A rather large very unattractive woman came up with an unattractive attitude and inquired of my delete choices...

It seemed as though she was struggling not to cough... And then she let it out all over the deli everywhere and then she ran behind the door... Other customers were asking what happened... Should bar fall over everything and then left...

She came back out 5 minutes later to another area of the deli touching everything... Giant.. Rotundus. Red hair...

Ultra heavyweight... In size and attitude very bad... Never will I go to the Grass Valley Railey's again... Not the first time bad service at the deli...

Understaffed store..r.aley's sucks... Shop somewhere ese

Ditigal coupons

If you have a sale, just have a sale. I waste a lot of time having to go on the computer and trying to locate the digital coupons that I want which are difficult to find. You and other stores do not have the right to discriminate against people who do not have computers and phone apps. Just have a sale without paper coupons and digital coupons like the good, old days. It may make shopping enjoyable again.

I had ordered a customized half sheet cake for my daughters birthday because Raleys usually has good quality cakes and never has been careless over the years. We hate buttercream frosting and always order light & fluffy or whipped topping. I opted for the light & fluffy for my daughters cake. Well they used buttercream frosting on the entire cake and the whole cake went to waste along with the $54 charged for it. Never again trusting Raleys with my orders..

This chain moves into Arizona, then turns around 2 years later and lays off countless employees of 30 years. Keep your California ways to yourself. Get the *** out of my state. Horrible way of doing business. Some people that cannot quite retire and you kick them out into the street. I hope karma comes for you.

I've been trying to get help

Your system sucks Im so pissed right now. I was on your phone line over an hour to be cut off. All I need is help with my Raleys app so that I can get digital deals. Im still trying to no avail. Im 74 years old and no woman my age should be put thru the agonizing mess!!!
